NC Landscaping, Inc. is a family-run exterior design and build company that transforms backyards into beautiful, livable outdoor spaces for homeowners across Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
Every project is run by our own crew, start to finish — no subcontracted work passed off as ours. The goal on every job is the same: a yard you enjoy today, and a home that's worth more when you're ready to sell.
We walk your property with you, talk through what you want, and give you a firm quote — no charge, no pressure.
We finalize materials, layout, and timeline so there are no surprises once work starts.
Our own crew — never subcontracted — does the work, typically completing most residential projects in a matter of days.
We walk the finished project with you, clean the site, and stand behind the work with our quality guarantee.
NC Landscaping, Inc. was founded in 2018 by Alfonso Contreras, who brought over 20 years of hands-on landscaping and hardscape experience to the company. We're run day-to-day by the people who show up to your job site, and we bring the same standards to every yard, big or small.
We stand behind every patio, wall, and walkway we build. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right — no runaround, no excuses. We're also licensed, fully insured, and bonded in Virginia, so you're protected from day one.

“NC Landscapers are thorough professionals and did an exceptional job transforming my backyard. Highly recommended for quality and on time completion of work.”
“We recently hired the NC Landscaping Inc. team to lift, re-level, and completely relay our irregular bluestone patio, and they did a great job. Reassembling an irregular puzzle pattern requires real skill, and they reinstalled the stones with a leveled base and excellent drainage. The crew was professional. They were also very patient. We had terrible weather that kept causing delay and delay. As soon as weather cleared, they were working on the patio. Thank you Manuel and team.”
“I have nothing but great things to say about this company. They did an incredible job transforming my backyard, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Their pricing was fair, and I really appreciated that they took the time to offer professional advice while still respecting my vision. They truly listened to what I wanted and worked with me every step of the way. The final result is absolutely beautiful and I constantly get compliments on my backyard. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them!”
